PM Shehbaz will begin his engagements in Hangzhou, located in Zhejiang Province. There, he will chair the Pakistan-China Business-to-Business Investment Conference. The conference will focus on IT, telecom, battery energy storage systems, and agriculture.
Business leaders and investors from both countries are expected to attend the event. Officials believe the conference could open new opportunities for economic cooperation.
Later in Beijing, PM Shehbaz will attend a special reception marking 75 years of diplomatic relations. The event is being hosted by the Chinese People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries.
The visit is being viewed as an important step in strengthening the long-standing relationship between Pakistan and China. Officials from both sides have described the partnership as an “All-Weather Strategic Cooperative Partnership.”
Analysts believe the trip could improve economic coordination and increase strategic trust between the two nations. The visit is also expected to support future collaboration under regional development initiatives.
