Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has urged India to engage in meaningful negotiations to resolve the Kashmir dispute, reaffirming Pakistan’s unwavering support for the Kashmiri people.

Speaking at the AJK Legislative Assembly, PM Shehbaz condemned India’s actions in the region, including extrajudicial killings and demographic changes. He called on the international community to pressure India into allowing Kashmiris their right to self-determination as per UN resolutions.
Pakistan observed Kashmir Solidarity Day with rallies and events nationwide, with President Asif Ali Zardari urging global powers to fulfill their commitments to the Kashmiri cause.
