Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif arrived in the United Arab Emirates on Thursday for a one-day official visit at the invitation of UAE President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. The visit underscores Pakistan’s efforts to strengthen ties with its key Gulf partner.
Upon landing at Al Bateen Airport in Abu Dhabi, the prime minister was warmly received by UAE National Security Adviser Sheikh Tahnoon bin Zayed Al Nahyan. Other senior Emirati officials and members of Pakistan’s diplomatic mission were also present to welcome the premier.

Sheikh Tahnoon later accompanied PM Shehbaz to the Presidential Palace, reflecting the importance the UAE attaches to the visit. The Pakistani leader is joined by a high-level delegation including Army Chief Field Marshal Asim Munir, Deputy PM Ishaq Dar, and other federal ministers and advisers.
During his meeting with the UAE President, PM Shehbaz is expected to discuss enhancing cooperation in trade, energy, investment, and regional affairs. The visit aims to solidify strategic and economic ties between the two brotherly nations.
