Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif held separate meetings on Tuesday with the ambassadors of Saudi Arabia and Qatar, underscoring Pakistan’s commitment to regional peace and expressing solidarity amid escalating tensions in the Middle East.
During his meeting with the Qatari ambassador, the prime minister conveyed Pakistan’s support following the recent missile attacks in the region. “We pray for the safety and security of our Qatari brothers and sisters, and the entire region,” he stated.

Shehbaz Sharif reiterated that Pakistan stands firmly by the principles of dialogue and diplomacy as the only sustainable path to lasting peace in the Middle East, adding that regional stability is in the collective interest of all.
In his discussion with the Saudi ambassador, the prime minister extended heartfelt prayers for King Salman bin Abdulaziz and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman. He reaffirmed Pakistan’s unwavering solidarity with the Kingdom and pledged continued cooperation to advance peace and stability in the region.
