The Pakistan Meteorological Department has predicted hot and dry weather conditions in Karachi over the next three days, with temperatures expected to rise steadily.
According to the forecast, Karachi’s maximum temperature today will range between 34°C and 36°C. On Saturday, it is likely to increase further to 35°C–37°C, while Sunday may see temperatures peaking at 38°C.
Officials noted that sea breezes may remain partially disrupted, with warm northeastern winds affecting the city’s usual cooling pattern. This could make the weather feel hotter than usual for residents.
Meanwhile, Lahore is experiencing relatively mild weather, with the current temperature recorded at 21°C. The maximum temperature is expected to reach 28°C, while the minimum may drop to 17°C.
Despite the pleasant temperatures, air pollution remains a serious concern in Lahore. The city has been ranked among the most polluted globally, recording an Air Quality Index (AQI) of 155.
Experts have advised citizens to limit unnecessary outdoor exposure and take safety precautions, especially those with respiratory conditions, as pollution levels continue to pose health risks.
