A police officer in Gujar Khan was arrested after being caught filming inappropriate videos and taking indecent photos of women in a public hospital’s bathroom. The incident occurred at the Civil Hospital, where the officer, dressed in plain clothes, was seen acting suspiciously.
A vigilant citizen, Bilal Hussain, noticed the police officer’s behavior and became concerned. After confronting the individual, Hussain checked the officer’s mobile phone.
He found several objectionable images of women, which led to the officer’s immediate detention. The citizen then handed the suspect over to the local police.
The suspect was later identified as Aqeel Abbas, a resident of Rajgan. Abbas is a police officer associated with the training wing of the Lahore Police.
He now faces serious charges, including Sections 354 and 292 of the Pakistan Penal Code, following the complaint filed by Bilal Hussain.
Senior Police Officer (SP) Nabeel Khokhar confirmed the arrest and assured the public that a full investigation is underway.
He stated that the police department is committed to holding officers accountable for any disgraceful actions. The department will take strict legal action against any officer found guilty of such behavior.
