President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif have conveyed their congratulations to the entire Pakistani nation on the occasion of the 77th Independence Day in separate messages.

President Zardari emphasized that this day represents the culmination of the historic political struggle of Indian Muslims for self-determination.
