Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited (PTCL) Group, the countryโs largest telecommunications and ICT services provider, has announced a strategic partnership with Mercantile, Appleโs authorised distributor and service provider in Pakistan. The collaboration will enable PTCL Group to offer Appleโs complete product range to enterprise customers across the country.
The agreement was formally signed during GITEX Global 2025 in Dubai by Asif Ahmad, Group Chief Business Solutions Officer at PTCL & Ufone 4G, and Nauman Durrani, CEO Pakistan and SVP Sage โ Mercantile. The signing ceremony was also attended by Hatem Bamatraf, President and Group CEO of PTCL, along with senior executives from both organisations.
Expanding Access to Apple Technology
Through this partnership, PTCL Group and Mercantile will work together to expand access to Appleโs technology solutions while providing enterprise clients with enhanced after-sales support and nationwide availability. The collaboration also aims to strengthen marketing and sales efforts through joint initiatives and campaigns, promoting innovation in Pakistanโs corporate technology ecosystem.
Introducing Device as a Service (DaaS)
The partnership will introduce innovative financing options through the Device as a Service (DaaS) model. This framework will allow businesses to equip their teams with Apple devices without heavy upfront investments, making enterprise mobility more flexible, scalable, and cost-efficient.
Asif Ahmad highlighted that the partnership reflects PTCL Groupโs commitment to driving digital transformation in Pakistan. โWe aim to enhance access to Appleโs cutting-edge technology while making business operations smarter and financially sustainable,โ he said.
