Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Barrister Gohar Ali Khan addressed the media outside Parliament on Thursday, offering insights into Pakistan’s foreign relations, party policies, and the legal route for its founder’s release.
Speaking on Pakistan’s ties with the United States, he noted that PTI would respond once a clearer picture emerges regarding the current state of bilateral relations. “We will only comment when it becomes clear how these relations are unfolding,” he stated.

Gohar commended former U.S. President Donald Trump for playing a crucial role in easing tensions between Pakistan and India, highlighting his intervention as both timely and impactful. “Without a mediator, confrontation between two nuclear powers becomes extremely risky,” he warned.
Referring to past military engagements with India, he said, “Pakistan’s response during the conflict exposed India’s arrogance, and that decisive stance will be remembered in history.”
He also underlined Pakistan’s strong ties with China, describing the relationship as “deep-rooted and unshakeable,” reaffirming its importance in regional stability and development.
On internal matters, Gohar reiterated PTI’s commitment to pursuing justice through lawful means. “We have always maintained that PTI will seek every solution through the judiciary,” he emphasized.
He firmly ruled out the possibility of lobbying foreign governments for the release of party founder Imran Khan, who is currently imprisoned in Adiala Jail. “We are not going to request any foreign nation for his release,” Gohar concluded.
