Punjab Braces for Rain as Weather System Approaches

The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has predicted light rain across various districts of Punjab, including Lahore, as a rain-bearing weather system is expected to reach the region on Friday. This weather change is anticipated to bring a refreshing cool down, with a noticeable drop in temperatures throughout the province.

Presently, dry weather dominates Punjab, including Lahore, where temperatures are climbing during the day and cooling off at night. The Met Office has also pointed out a shorter winter season this year due to ongoing climate changes. Lahore’s temperatures on Thursday registered a low of 7°C, with the day’s high forecasted to touch 24°C.
