Under the new initiative, registration and transfer fees for all two-wheelers across the province are now completely waived, giving instant relief to thousands of motorcycle owners.
Every registered motorbike will also receive a monthly cash subsidy of Rs2,000, along with 20 liters of petrol provided at a subsidized rate of Rs100 per liter, aimed at making daily commuting more affordable.
Bikers can easily avail of the subsidy through multiple channels, including helpline 1000, the mobile app โMaryam Ko Bataynโ available on the Play Store, and the official web portal at https://mkb.punjab.gov.pk.
CM Maryam Nawaz emphasized that the package is part of the governmentโs ongoing efforts to alleviate economic pressures on citizens, promising that these measures are designed to directly support the common man.
Authorities say the relief package is unprecedented and marks a significant step toward transforming commuting affordability in Punjab, providing practical and immediate support to the public amid rising fuel costs.
