Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has arrived in Saudi Arabia to perform Umrah during the holy month of Ramazan, accompanying Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on the visit.
Her trip coincides with a time when millions of Muslims from around the world are traveling to the holy cities for Umrah during this sacred period. Alongside fulfilling religious obligations, her visit also reflects her role in provincial leadership and humanitarian efforts.

Before departing, Maryam Nawaz met her father, Nawaz Sharif, who offered prayers for her well-being and the safety of the entire delegation.
Meanwhile, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif is also in Saudi Arabia, where he engaged with top Saudi officials. During meetings in Jeddah, he discussed investment opportunities with Saudi Investment Minister Khalid Al-Falih and Mohammad Al-Tuwaijri, reaffirming Pakistan’s commitment to facilitating Saudi investors.
He also highlighted key sectors such as energy, infrastructure, agriculture, and technology, inviting Saudi businesses to explore investment prospects through the Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC).
