The Punjab School Education Department has announced new STI Jobs for government schools across the province.
The recruitment offers temporary teaching opportunities for eligible male and female candidates. Monthly stipends range from Rs. 38,000 to Rs. 45,000.
Applications can be submitted online until October 18, 2026, at 11:59 pm.
According to advertisement IPL-10494, vacancies are available at different school levels. These include primary, elementary, high, and higher secondary schools.
Selected School Teacher Interns will serve from November 3, 2026, until May 31, 2027.
Punjab STI Jobs 2026 Eligibility Criteria
Applicants for STI Jobs must be between 21 and 45 years old.
The required educational qualification depends on the school level selected by the candidate.
For primary schools, applicants must hold a BA or BSc degree. Elementary school applicants can hold an MA, MSc, BS Honours, BA, or BSc degree.
For high and higher secondary schools, an MA, MSc, or BS Honours degree is required.
The qualification must be in the relevant subject for high and higher secondary positions.
Candidates with B.Ed or M.Ed qualifications will receive preference during the recruitment process. However, these professional qualifications do not replace the basic academic requirements.
Monthly Stipend for School Teacher Interns
The monthly stipend varies according to the level of the school.
Primary school interns will receive Rs. 38,000 per month. Those appointed at elementary schools will receive a monthly stipend of Rs. 40,000.
High and higher secondary school interns will receive Rs. 45,000 per month.
These positions are temporary and will remain valid for the announced internship period. The department has stated that internships will not be converted into permanent government appointments.
However, successful interns will receive a certificate after completing their placement.

Punjab STI Online Application Portal New applicants must create an account using their CNIC and password.
Candidates with existing accounts can sign in using their current login details. Applicants should complete their profiles and provide all required information before submitting an application.
Returning applicants should also review their existing information and update outdated details.
The portal provides the recruitment schedule, including merit lists, objections, interviews, and agreements.
The final deadline for online applications is October 18, 2026, at 11:59 pm.
