Punjab University has officially announced the summer vacations schedule for all its campuses, including those outside Lahore. The summer break will begin on June 5 and continue until August 29, as per the university administration’s notification.
This schedule applies to all teaching departments and affiliated campuses. Departments have been instructed to complete all remaining classes of the 8th semester before the break, while faculty must ensure that academic work for the 9th semester is finalized on time.

The university emphasized that classes during the summer holidays will only be allowed in exceptional cases, stressing the importance of following the academic calendar. This early announcement aims to help students and faculty plan their activities accordingly, with a call for full cooperation in meeting academic deadlines before the vacation starts.
Meanwhile, the Punjab School Education Department has declared summer holidays for all public and private schools from June 1 to August 9, 2025. The decision was made in response to rising temperatures and climate concerns, with the possibility of starting the break earlier if heat conditions worsen to safeguard students and staff.
