The Meteorological Department has predicted rainfall in several regions of Pakistan, including Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), and Islamabad.
Starting from Wednesday evening and continuing until Sunday, April 20, intermittent rain is expected to affect most districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, with thunderstorms and rain likely in northern, central, and southern areas.

In response to potential weather-related incidents, the Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) has issued an alert to all district administrations. They have been instructed to remain alert and ensure the restoration of road links in emergencies, with alternative routes provided in case of road closures. The PDMA has also advised tourists to check weather conditions and road statuses via the helpline before traveling to tourist destinations.
Rain is forecast for Islamabad, Punjab, Murree, Galiyat, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan, and Kashmir by April 20, with some regions possibly experiencing hailstorms.
At the same time, the heatwave in parts of Sindh, South Punjab, and Balochistan is expected to continue until April 18.
On April 18 and 19, dust storms and strong winds are anticipated in several districts, including Dera Ghazi Khan, Rajanpur, Layyah, Kot Addu, Muzaffargarh, Bahawalpur, Multan, Sahiwal, Khanewal, Pakpattan, Vehari, and Okara.
