The Meteorological Department has predicted a combination of hot and stormy weather across Pakistan, with Islamabad likely to see partly cloudy skies accompanied by strong winds. Northern and central parts of Punjab, as well as several districts in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, are expected to experience thundershowers and even hailstorms in isolated areas.
In KP, rain and gusty winds are likely to hit regions including Chitral, Swat, Mansehra, Abbottabad, and Peshawar. Meanwhile, parts of Punjab such as Rawalpindi, Murree, Sialkot, Lahore, and Faisalabad are also on alert for strong winds and scattered rainfall. Lahore, despite brief relief from rain, is expected to remain hot with temperatures reaching around 36°C.

Sindh and Balochistan, however, continue to swelter under extreme heat, with no immediate signs of weather relief. Most districts in these provinces are forecast to remain dry and scorching over the coming days.
Amid changing weather patterns, the Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) has issued new safety guidelines for rooftop solar panel installations. These include using certified installers, securing drainage, and ensuring structural safety to prevent damage during hailstorms or heavy rain.
