Raza Dar Named in Another FIR Over Alleged Lahore ‘Hit-And-Run’ Case

Raza Dar Named in Another FIR Over Alleged Lahore ‘Hit-And-Run’ Case

Raza Dar named in another First Information Report (FIR) as fresh legal challenges emerge during an ongoing high-profile criminal investigation. This latest case relates to an alleged hit-and-run incident in Lahore that reportedly caused significant damage to a citizen’s vehicle.

According to police documents, a new FIR has been registered at Cantt Police Station in Lahore. The complaint alleges that a vehicle linked to Raza Dar struck another car and left the scene without stopping.

The FIR was filed on the complaint of Muhammad Usman. He told police that the incident happened on July 1 at around 7:45 PM near Toyota Motors on Airport Road.

Usman said he was driving his Nissan Lux from Tin Garden towards Bhatta Chowk. During the journey, a vehicle allegedly associated with Raza Dar collided with the rear of his car.

The complainant claimed the collision caused extensive damage to his vehicle. According to his statement, the trunk, rear bumper, right taillight, spare wheel compartment and other rear parts were damaged.

He estimated the total financial loss at around Rs300,000. Usman further alleged that the driver left the scene immediately after the accident without offering assistance or compensation.

Following an initial review of the complaint, South Cantt Police registered a case. The FIR includes Section 279 of the Pakistan Penal Code, which relates to rash and negligent driving.

Police also added Section 427 of the Pakistan Penal Code, which covers allegations of causing damage to property. Investigators are continuing to examine the evidence related to the reported accident.

The latest development comes as Raza Dar named in another legal matter linked to a separate and more serious criminal investigation.

In that case, the Punjab government has directed police to investigate allegations of kidnapping, crypto extortion and the alleged sexual assault of two foreign women strictly on merit. Officials said the inquiry will continue without any preferential treatment.

According to investigators, the victims are a Dutch national and a Venezuelan national. Police said the women were rescued from Lahore’s DHA after Pakistani authorities received an emergency call from Spain.

Investigators allege the women were brought to Pakistan by Ahmad Raza Dar after first meeting him in Singapore in 2025. Police claim the victims were abducted on June 29.

Authorities allege that Ahmad Raza Dar, Sikandar Aziz Khan, Hassan Raza and Sajid Ali demanded a ransom of $1.5 million during the victims’ captivity. Investigators have also alleged repeated sexual assaults during that period.

Police said CCTV footage helped trace the suspects and rescue the women within two hours. All four accused have been placed on five-day physical remand while forensic samples have been collected for DNA testing.

Officials said investigations into both cases are continuing separately. The fact that Raza Dar named in another FIR has increased public attention on the ongoing legal proceedings. Police have stated that both investigations will proceed according to the law and that all available evidence will be examined before any further legal action is taken.
