Government of Punjab has launched the Chief Minister Punjab Internship Program 2026 in partnership with Rescue 1122 Punjab. The initiative offers valuable training opportunities for young healthcare professionals across the province.
Under the program, 1,400 Rescue Intern positions have been announced for eligible candidates from nursing, paramedical, and allied health sciences backgrounds. The internship aims to provide practical exposure to emergency medical services and public safety operations.
Rescue 1122 is one of Pakistan’s largest emergency service organizations. It provides medical assistance, fire rescue, disaster response, water rescue, and community safety services throughout Punjab. Over the years, the organization has played a major role in emergency management and life-saving operations.
The Rescue 1122 internship will allow participants to work alongside experienced emergency responders. Interns will receive hands-on training in patient care, rescue operations, disaster management, and emergency communication systems.
According to the program details, placements will be made at various Rescue 1122 stations and emergency service centers across Punjab. Selection will be conducted strictly on merit.
Applicants must hold a Nursing, Paramedical, or Allied Health Sciences diploma or degree from a recognized institution. The qualification must be approved by the relevant board, council, or university with at least a Second Division.
Candidates must be between 18 and 30 years of age. A valid Punjab domicile is also required for eligibility.
The training program will cover multiple areas, including Emergency Medical Services, ambulance operations, disaster management, first aid, trauma response, fire and rescue awareness, public health emergencies, and community safety programs.
Officials believe the internship will help participants strengthen their medical knowledge, communication skills, leadership abilities, and teamwork capabilities. The experience gained through the program may also improve future employment prospects in healthcare, emergency management, rescue services, and public sector organizations.
The recruitment process may include application screening, written assessments, interviews, and practical evaluations where required. Successful candidates will be assigned to emergency service facilities across the province.
Applicants are advised to prepare their CNIC, Punjab domicile certificate, educational documents, transcripts, photographs, and any relevant experience certificates before applying.
Interested candidates can submit applications through the designated online portal by completing the application form and uploading the required documents. Authorities have advised applicants to verify all information carefully before submission.
