Film producer Ramesh Taurani has officially confirmed that Saif Ali Khan will be returning to the Race franchise, leading the cast in the highly anticipated Race 4. After much speculation, Taurani shared the news, generating excitement among fans who have been eager to see Saif back in the action-packed series.
Production for the film is set to begin in 2025, although key details regarding the rest of the cast and crew are yet to be finalized. Speaking to an Indian media outlet, Taurani revealed, “Saif will be back in the Race franchise, and we are excited to have him on board. He did a great job in the first two films.” He also hinted at an ensemble cast and confirmed that they are still working on the script and finalizing the director.

The Race series, which first hit theaters in 2008, made waves with Saif Ali Khan starring alongside Akshaye Khanna. The sequel in 2013 featured Saif opposite John Abraham, while the third installment, led by Salman Khan in 2018, failed to impress.
Fans are now eager to see Saif return to the action-adventure genre. His recent role as the villain in Devara with Jr NTR and Janhvi Kapoor has only heightened the anticipation for his comeback in Race 4.
