Seabreeze Returns To Karachi After Days of Heat And Humidity

Seabreeze Returns To Karachi After Days of Heat And Humidity

The weather in Karachi has taken a pleasant turn as Seabreeze returns to the city after several days of intense heat and high humidity. The Met Office has forecast partly cloudy conditions for Saturday, bringing some relief to residents.

Officials said southwesterly winds are now blowing at a speed of around 20 kilometers per hour. Strong winds are also expected during the daytime, according to the latest weather report.

With the Seabreeze returns phenomenon active again, coastal air is flowing into the city. This has helped ease the overall discomfort caused by recent hot and humid conditions.

Humidity levels were recorded at around 72 percent, which had significantly increased the feel-like temperature in previous days. Experts noted that the high moisture in the air made the heat feel more intense for citizens.

Weather authorities said the maximum temperature in Karachi is expected to remain between 35 and 37 degrees Celsius. Although temperatures are still high, the return of sea winds is expected to improve conditions slightly.

The Seabreeze returns pattern plays a key role in regulating Karachiโ€™s coastal climate. It brings cooler and moist air from the Arabian Sea, which helps reduce extreme heat in the metropolitan city.

In recent days, the absence of sea breeze had caused uncomfortable weather conditions. Temperatures rose sharply, and humidity levels made the situation even more difficult for residents.

Health experts have advised citizens to remain cautious despite the improvement. They recommend staying hydrated, avoiding direct sunlight during peak hours, and using protective measures such as caps and sunscreen.

Karachiโ€™s weather is heavily influenced by seasonal wind patterns. When the sea breeze is active, it often provides much-needed relief from heatwaves and high humidity.

With Seabreeze returns once again, residents can expect relatively more tolerable conditions compared to previous days. However, experts say precautions should still be followed as temperatures remain on the higher side.

Overall, the return of coastal winds marks a positive shift in Karachiโ€™s weather, bringing gradual relief after a stretch of harsh summer conditions.
