Security Forces Eliminate 7 Indian-Backed Terrorists in Balochistan Sherani

SHERANI – Security forces killed seven Indian-backed terrorists during a major intelligence-based operation in Sherani district of Balochistan, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) confirmed on Friday.

Details of the Operation

According to ISPR, security forces launched the action after tracking the movements of terrorists in the mountainous region of Sherani. Heavy gunfire was exchanged between troops and militants before seven terrorists were eliminated.

Weapons, ammunition, and explosives were recovered from the hideout. The militants were reportedly involved in several violent attacks aimed at destabilizing peace in Balochistan.

Clearance Operation Underway

Following the successful strike, security forces started a clearance operation in the surrounding area to locate any remaining terrorists. ISPR reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to eliminating terrorism, particularly those funded and supported from across the border.

In a statement, ISPR emphasized, β€œPakistan will not allow Indian-sponsored terrorism to succeed. The enemies of peace will be brought to justice.”

National Leadership Reacts

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif praised the courage and professionalism of the armed forces. He said the elimination of Indian-backed militants in Sherani was a significant achievement in the country’s fight against terrorism.

β€œThe government remains committed to eradicating terrorism completely. Those who seek to harm Pakistan’s sovereignty will never succeed,” the Prime Minister stated.

Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi also congratulated the forces on their successful action. He commended their sacrifices and reaffirmed the nation’s support.

β€œThe operation has foiled the malicious designs of the terrorists. Our soldiers’ dedication to peace in Balochistan is unmatched, and the people of Pakistan stand firmly behind them,” Naqvi said.
