Security Forces Neutralise Key Militants In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Operations

Pakistani security forces successfully eliminated five Khwarij militants, including two high-value targets, and captured two others during a series of intelligence-based operations in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, according to an official statement released by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) on Saturday.

The coordinated operations were conducted on April 30 and May 1, 2025, across Bajaur, North Waziristan, and Mohmand districts. In Bajaur, three militants were killed, including senior figure Kharji Fareed Ullah, following a fierce gunfight triggered by credible intelligence inputs. A separate operation in Dossali, North Waziristan, resulted in the elimination of two more militants after heavy resistance.

In Mohmand district, security forces dismantled a militant hideout, capturing two operatives, one of whom was identified as high-value target Kharji Lal Ameer, also known as Ibrahim. Authorities also seized a cache of weapons, ammunition, and explosives during these actions.

ISPR confirmed that all the militants had been actively involved in terrorist activities in the region. Sanitisation operations are ongoing to ensure the complete removal of any remaining threats, reaffirming the military’s commitment to eradicating terrorism from the country.
