ISLAMABAD โ Senior Pakistan Muslim League (N) leader and Senator Irfan Siddiqui has passed away after a short illness, his family confirmed on Monday.
According to reports, Irfan Siddiquiโs son, Imran Siddiqui, announced his fatherโs passing in a heartfelt post on social media. โSenator Irfan Siddiqui has passed away,โ he wrote, expressing deep grief and calling his father his โteacher and a symbol of love.โ He also prayed for the eternal peace of his fatherโs soul.
Family sources confirmed that the burial will take place at the H-11 graveyard in Islamabad.
The news of Irfan Siddiquiโs death has sent shockwaves through political circles across Pakistan. President Asif Ali Zardari, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi, and several federal ministers expressed profound sorrow over his demise.
