In a recent development, the National Cyber Crimes Agency has arrested a senior NADRA executive, Hina Rehman Sheikh, for allegedly creating a WhatsApp group to spread anti-army content.
The accused was employed at NADRA’s Abbott Road office in Lahore when the cybercrime team carried out a raid. The operation, which involved two female officers, led to the swift arrest of Sheikh. According to the agency, the content shared in the WhatsApp group posed a significant threat to national security and public harmony.
