In a tragic incident on 6 May 2025, seven Pakistani soldiers were martyred after terrorists from the Indian-backed Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) targeted a security forces’ vehicle using an improvised explosive device in the Mach area of Kachhi District, Balochistan.
The attack claimed the lives of Subedar Umar Farooq (42, Karachi), Naik Asif Khan (28, Karak), Naik Mashkoor Ali (28, Orakzai), Sepoy Tariq Nawaz (26, Lakki Marwat), Sepoy Wajid Ahmed Faiz (28, Bagh), Sepoy Muhammad Asim (22, Karak), and Sepoy Muhammad Kashif Khan (28, Kohat). These brave sons of the soil embraced shahadat while serving their country.
Following the attack, security forces launched a sanitization operation in the area to eliminate any remaining terrorist elements. Authorities have vowed that the perpetrators of this heinous act will be brought to justice.
Pakistan’s security forces reaffirmed their commitment to defeating all attempts to destabilize Balochistan. These sacrifices, they stated, only strengthen national resolve against terrorism and foreign-sponsored agendas.
The nation stands united with its armed forces to thwart nefarious Indian designs and ensure peace and stability in the region.
