Shehbaz Sharif Names Bilal bin Saqib Special Assistant on Crypto and Blockchain

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has appointed Bilal bin Saqib as his Special Assistant on Crypto and Blockchain, a newly created position at the federal level. The official notification from the Prime Minister’s Office on Monday confirmed that Bilal bin Saqib will hold the status of Minister of State while serving in this role.

Bilal bin Saqib is currently the Chief Executive Officer of the Pakistan Crypto Council, an organization dedicated to promoting cryptocurrency and blockchain technology within Pakistan. His appointment highlights the government’s increasing focus on the growing crypto sector.
