The Sindh School Education Department has officially released new school timings for Ramadan 2026, affecting students across the province.
The revised schedule is designed to accommodate fasting students while maintaining smooth academic operations during the holy month. Authorities emphasized that these school timings are mandatory and must be strictly followed.
For primary schools, the Ramzan timings are as follows:
Single Shift: 08:00 am – 12:30 pm on weekdays, 08:00 am – 11:30 am on Fridays
First Shift (Double Shift): 07:30 am – 11:30 am on weekdays, 07:30 am – 10:30 am on Fridays
Second Shift (Double Shift): 11:45 am – 02:45 pm on weekdays, 11:45 am – 01:15 pm on Fridays
Officials said the school timings were set carefully to balance student convenience with academic requirements. Students and parents are advised to plan daily routines around the new schedule.
Schools across New Karachi and other areas of Sindh will follow these adjusted timings starting with the beginning of Ramadan. The department noted that the schedule allows students to observe fasting while attending classes effectively.
The announcement also stressed the importance of punctuality. Teachers and staff are expected to ensure that students follow the school timings without disruption.
