The Inspector General of Police (IGP) Sindh has introduced a complaint system to help citizens resolve police-related issues. The system focuses on improving public access to justice and ensuring accountability.
The IGP Complaint Management System (CMS) allows citizens to address FIR related problems easily. It is designed especially for cases where police stations delay or refuse to register an FIR.
Officials said the system is available through multiple channels. Citizens can use a helpline, WhatsApp, email, or an online portal. These options make it easier to address FIR complaints without visiting offices repeatedly.
The helpline number 1715 is available for direct support. Citizens can also send messages on WhatsApp at 0314-105831. In addition, complaints can be registered through the official CMS online portal.
An email option is also available at aigcomplaints.cpo@sindhpolice.gov.pk. Through all these channels, people can address FIR issues and other police-related grievances.
The complaint cell handles several types of cases. These include refusal to register FIRs, faulty investigations, and corruption. It also covers harassment, illegal detention, and false FIR registrations.
Authorities said the system is meant to ensure transparency in policing. It also helps citizens address FIR delays more efficiently. Each complaint is tracked and reviewed for proper action.
Officials have instructed citizens to always include their CNIC number when submitting a complaint. This helps verify identity and speeds up processing.
For further assistance, citizens can contact support numbers 021-99212681 and 021-99211663. These lines are available from 9am to 5pm on working days.
The IGP Sindh Complaint Cell aims to build public trust in the police system. It encourages people to report issues without fear. By using this system, citizens can easily address FIR concerns and other misconduct cases.
Authorities believe this initiative will improve service delivery and reduce delays. It also ensures that police actions remain accountable and transparent.
Overall, the CMS system provides a structured way for citizens to address FIR problems and seek timely justice through official channels.
