The Sindh government has announced the launch of the Sindh Youth Card, a program designed to empower young people across the province. The initiative aims to provide access to education, scholarships, employment, skills training, and sports facilities.
The program was approved under special instructions from PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari. Officials said it will bring maximum benefits to the youth and help them achieve career and educational goals.
The announcement came after a high-level meeting at the Sindh Secretariat, chaired by Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs Sardar Muhammad Bakhsh Mehr. Top officials, including Secretary Sports Manwar Ali Mahesar, Director Asad Ishaq, and Chief Engineer Muhammad Aslam Mehr, attended the session.
“This Sindh Youth Card will ensure young people have the tools and resources they need to succeed,” said Sardar Mehr. He added that the program is expected to roll out before June this year.
Experts say the Sindh Youth Card could be a game-changer for thousands of students and young professionals in Sindh. By combining education, financial support, and skills development, the initiative sets a bold example for youth empowerment across Pakistan.
The card will target students, recent graduates, and young professionals, providing them with access to scholarships, training programs, and employment opportunities. It also includes sports and recreational facilities, promoting a well-rounded development for the youth.
While the eligibility criteria and benefits package are still being finalized, the government emphasizes that the Sindh Youth Card is a major step toward supporting youth development, enhancing employability, and ensuring financial and educational assistance reaches those who need it most.
