Five People, Including Akbar Bugti Grandson, Were Killed In Karachi DHA

On Thursday night, a violent clash between two groups on Khayaban-e-Nishat in Karachi’s DHA resulted in the deaths of five people, including Akbar Bugti’s grandson. The deceased have been identified as Mir Mohsin Bugti, Mir Isa Bugti, Ali Bugti, Fahad Bugti, and Naseebullah, with Mir Ali Haider Bugti and Qaim Ali among the injured.

The conflict involved an exchange of gunfire between the Fahad Bugti group and the Ali Haider Bugti group, both affiliated with Nawabzada Akbar Bugti’s family. The cause of the clash remains unclear.

Police and Rangers have been stationed outside Jinnah Hospital’s emergency ward, where members of both groups have gathered. The hospital reported five deceased at Jinnah Hospital and two injured at a private facility.

To prevent further violence, a heavy police presence has been established. Fahad Bugti and Naseebullah’s bodies were moved to Jinnah Hospital’s mortuary, while the other three bodies were taken to Civil Hospital for post-mortem.

Sindh’s Interior Minister, Zia Hasan Lanjhar, has requested a detailed report from the Additional IG Karachi, emphasizing that legal action will be taken against those involved and asserting that maintaining peace in the city is a priority.
