Apple Music has started rolling out in Pakistan with locally priced subscription plans. The development brings official access closer to Pakistani Apple users.
Pakistani users have reported that subscriptions can now be purchased using local payment cards.
The development emerged during Apple’s latest iOS 27 beta cycle. Several users have reported successful payments and access to the streaming service.
However, the rollout appears to remain in its early stages. Availability may therefore vary among users.
Apple Music Prices in Pakistan
According to details shared by Pakistani users, the Individual Plan costs Rs. 379 per month. The Family Plan is reportedly available for Rs. 649 per month.
Eligible new subscribers can also receive a one-month free trial. These locally priced plans could make Apple Music easier to access for Pakistani subscribers.
The service provides access to more than 100 million songs. Users can listen without advertisements and download music for offline playback.
It also supports lossless audio and Spatial Audio on compatible devices. The service works across iPhone, iPad, Mac, Android and Windows devices.
Local Payment Cards Supported
Apple’s payment documentation lists Pakistan among markets supporting several payment options.
Users can pay through their Apple Account balance and most supported credit and debit cards. Local payment support could remove a major obstacle previously faced by Pakistani users.
Some users previously relied on foreign Apple Account regions or international payment methods to access certain Apple services. The new rollout could provide a more straightforward subscription experience.
Apple Pay Speculation Grows
The Apple Music rollout has also renewed discussion about a possible Apple Pay launch in Pakistan. Developers and users examining the latest iOS 27 beta reportedly discovered references to PayPak.
PayPak is Pakistan’s domestic card payment network. However, these references do not confirm an official Apple Pay launch.
They could indicate preparations for future support, but no confirmed launch date has been announced. Apple’s official payment information currently does not list Apple Pay as an available payment method in Pakistan.
What Apple Music Means for Pakistani Users
The rollout represents an important development for Apple’s services in Pakistan. Rupee-based subscription prices could make billing simpler and more predictable for local users.
Local card support could also reduce the need for foreign payment arrangements. For now, Pakistani users can expect an Individual Plan reportedly priced at Rs. 379 monthly.
