Sui Northern Gas Company (SNGC) has finalized a special Gas Supply schedule for consumers during the Eidul Azha holidays. The company announced that households across all districts will receive gas with full pressure during the festive days to facilitate cooking and other domestic needs.
According to reports, SNGC has completed all arrangements to ensure uninterrupted Gas Supply during Eid. Officials said the company has designed a schedule keeping in view the increased demand for gas during the religious festival.
Sources stated that on the first day of Eidul Azha, consumers will receive Gas Supply from 5:00 am until 11:00 pm. The extended hours are aimed at helping families prepare meals and perform Eid-related activities without facing gas shortages.
For the second and third days of Eid, SNGC will provide gas from 6:00 am until 12:00 midnight. Officials said the revised timing would continue to ensure convenience for domestic consumers during the remaining holiday period.
The company has also confirmed that gas will remain available until midnight on Eid night. Authorities said the implementation of the special holiday schedule will begin from tomorrow.
The announcement has brought relief to many consumers who often face low gas pressure during major holidays and winter months. Families usually require more gas during Eidul Azha due to cooking activities related to sacrificial meat and gatherings with relatives.
SNGC officials said special monitoring teams will remain active during the Eid holidays to oversee the distribution system. The company aims to maintain stable Gas Supply and quickly respond to complaints regarding pressure or service interruptions.
Consumers in several cities have previously raised concerns over gas shortages during important occasions. However, the latest schedule indicates that SNGC is attempting to avoid disruptions during the three Eid holidays.
The company also urged consumers to use gas carefully and avoid unnecessary wastage during the festive period. Officials emphasized that responsible usage would help maintain smooth Gas Supply across all areas.
Eidul Azha is one of the busiest periods for domestic gas consumption in Pakistan. Demand usually rises significantly as families prepare traditional meals and preserve meat after animal sacrifices.
Authorities believe the special arrangements will help reduce inconvenience and improve public satisfaction during the holidays. SNGC has assured consumers that efforts are being made to maintain full pressure throughout the announced timings.
