ISLAMABAD β Pakistanβs Information and Broadcasting Minister, Attaullah Tarar, has exposed Indian propaganda claiming Pakistani troops were being sent to Gaza.
Reports circulating in Indian media alleged that Pakistanβs military had agreed with the CIA and Mossad to deploy 20,000 soldiers to Gaza. The claims also suggested Pakistan recognized Israel.
Minister Tarar clarified that these reports are completely false. He confirmed Pakistan has not recognized Israel, nor discussed any troop deployment in Gaza.
He further stated that neither the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) nor the Foreign Office have issued any statements or confirmed such a mission. The minister emphasized that the news was fabricated.
Tarar criticized the Indian news portal Firstpost for misquoting a private newspaper out of context. He called the so-called βintelligence leaksβ misleading and highlighted that CNN-News18, cited in the report, has a history of publishing unverified claims.
βThe Indian state-backed media, under Modiβs influence, is spreading ridiculous propaganda,β Tarar said. He reaffirmed Pakistanβs commitment to the Palestinian right to self-determination and condemned false narratives aiming to distort the countryβs position.
Pakistanβs Ministry of Information stated that Indian propaganda is being used to create confusion and mislead the international community. Authorities stressed the importance of verifying information before reporting.
The minister urged the public and international observers to ignore these misleading reports. He reassured that Pakistanβs foreign policy remains principled and focused on supporting Palestinians while maintaining national security.
Indian propaganda about Pakistanβs military activities has been a recurring issue. Officials highlighted the need for responsible journalism and accurate reporting in sensitive geopolitical matters.
