Toyota Yaris Prices Slashed By Rs4 Lakh in Pakistan โ€” Check New Rates

Indus Motor Company (IMC), the assembler of Toyota vehicles in Pakistan, has announced a significant price reduction on select variants of the popular compact sedan, Toyota Yaris. The move comes as competition in the sedan market continues to intensify.

The company has introduced a limited-time promotional price cut of up to Rs400,000 on top variants of the Toyota Yaris. This offer has been linked to anniversary celebrations in Pakistan. However, the timing has attracted strong market attention.

The announcement came shortly after Hyundai Nishat launched the Hyundai Elantra 1.6 Special Edition. The new model is priced at Rs6,449,000. It includes several premium features and has increased pressure on rival sedans.

In response, Toyota has adjusted pricing to maintain its position in the segment. The revised rates create a clearer gap between the Yaris lineup and the newly introduced Elantra SE. Industry observers view this as a strategic move in a highly competitive market.

New Price Update for Toyota Yaris

The updated pricing shows a noticeable reduction in top trims:

  • Yaris 1.5 ATIV X (Black Interior): Old Rs6,449,000 โ†’ New Rs6,049,000
  • Yaris 1.5 ATIV X (Beige Interior): Old Rs6,389,000 โ†’ New Rs5,999,000

This price revision strengthens the value position of the Toyota Yaris in the local market. It also makes the sedan more competitive against newly launched rivals.

Industry experts believe the 1.5L variants were already under pressure. Hyundaiโ€™s new Elantra played a major role in shifting buyer attention. Its upgraded features include wireless charging, powered seats, and advanced LED lighting.

Toyotaโ€™s quick response is seen as an effort to protect market share. It also aims to keep the Yaris attractive for budget-conscious sedan buyers.

Despite strong competition, the Toyota Yaris remains one of the most popular compact sedans in Pakistan. It is widely known for reliability and low maintenance costs. Strong resale value and wide service availability also support its demand.

The car offers a 476-liter trunk and a 42-liter fuel tank. Engine options include a 1.3L unit with around 98 horsepower and a 1.5L engine producing about 106 horsepower. Transmission choices include manual and CVT options.

Fuel efficiency remains a strong point. It delivers around 12โ€“14 km/L in cities and up to 16 km/L on highways.

Feature-wise, higher trims include LED lighting, alloy wheels, touchscreen infotainment, and modern safety systems. These include airbags, ABS, stability control, and parking assistance.

Key competitors of the Toyota Yaris include Honda City, Changan Alsvin, and Proton Saga. While it may not be the most stylish option, it remains a practical and dependable choice for long-term ownership.
