In a heartbreaking accident in Swabi, six members of a single family drowned after their rickshaw plunged into a canal following a collision with a tractor trolley. The victims, including women and young children, were returning to Asota Sharif after visiting relatives in Bakar.
The tragic incident occurred near the Gohati canal on Monday evening. A total of 14 family members were aboard the rickshaw when the accident happened. While local residents and rescue teams managed to save eight people, six others could not be rescued in time.

Among the deceased were a 60-year-old woman, her married daughter, daughter-in-law, and three grandchildren, including two toddlers. Recovery efforts extended into the night, with the final body found on Tuesday morning.
The incident has deeply shaken the local community, with six funerals held in one day. Grief and sorrow hung heavy over the village as hundreds gathered to mourn the devastating loss.
