A tragic road accident in Nazimabad No. 1 has claimed the lives of two young sisters. In a separate case, authorities also reported another fatal crash in Karachi involving heavy vehicles. The incident has raised concerns over road safety and speeding traffic.
Police said the accident happened when a motorcycle lost control and skidded on the road. In the same moment, a heavy oil tanker was passing nearby. The situation turned deadly when Trailer crushes the victims after the bike fell under the vehicle’s rear wheels.
Officials confirmed that Trailer crushes the two sisters after the motorcycle slipped. The impact proved fatal, and both died on the spot. The motorcyclist, however, survived the accident miraculously.
The victims were identified as Esther and Angel. They were aged 17 and 15. According to family members, they lived in Rizvia Siraj Colony in Karachi.
At the time of the incident, the sisters were traveling on a motorcycle with their brother. The accident occurred suddenly, leaving no time to react. Authorities have shifted the oil tanker to the police station for investigation.
The driver of the tanker has also been taken into custody. Police are now recording statements and examining the circumstances. Officials said that Trailer crushes incidents like this highlight serious road safety issues involving heavy vehicles.
The bodies were moved to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for legal formalities. Funeral arrangements are expected after completion of official procedures.
In a separate incident, another traffic accident was reported at Ibrahim Hyderi’s Benazir Chowk. A 10-year-old boy named Abdul Musawir lost his life after being hit by a vehicle.
Officials said the child was crossing or moving near the road when the accident occurred. Emergency teams reached the site but could not save him.
Another fatal crash was reported in Site Super Highway’s Mohammadi Goth. A 25-year-old motorcyclist, Abdul Hameed, died on the spot after being struck by an unidentified vehicle.
Police have shifted all bodies to hospitals for legal formalities. Investigations are underway in all cases to determine responsibility.
Authorities have urged drivers to follow traffic rules strictly. They also warned that negligence can lead to repeated incidents where Trailer crushes lives on busy roads.
The series of accidents has sparked public concern over enforcement and road safety measures in Karachi.
