Commuters have expressed concern over the rising transport costs, urging the government to implement a monitoring mechanism at major terminals to regulate and prevent unauthorized fare hikes. Many fear that without oversight, the fare burden could worsen in the coming weeks.
In response, the Secretary of the Regional Transport Authority has assured that strict measures are being enforced against transporters who exceed the approved fare limits. Raids and inspections are underway to ensure compliance and safeguard passenger interests.
