Authorities have secured the area and initiated a search operation to capture the perpetrators. Additional police forces have been deployed to aid in the investigation and arrest those responsible for this crime.

Preliminary investigations suggest that the attack may have been motivated by a previous grudge involving the school van driver, who was also shot and is receiving treatment at the hospital.

Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has demanded a detailed report from the Rawalpindi commissioner in response to the incident. She expressed profound sadness over the loss of the two children and has instructed health officials to ensure the best possible care for the injured.
