Uzbekistan’s private airline Centrum Air is set to enter the Pakistani market with direct flights connecting Tashkent and Lahore, offering travelers another international option for travel to and from Pakistan.
The airline confirmed that the new route will operate twice a week, with flights scheduled on Tuesdays and Fridays. Services are expected to commence on April 21, 2026. The outbound flight from Tashkent to Lahore will operate under call sign C6561, while the return journey to Tashkent will use call sign C6562, utilizing an Airbus A320 for operations.
This new service is anticipated to enhance connectivity between Pakistan and Uzbekistan, providing improved options for both business travelers and tourists. Authorities expect the route to strengthen trade, tourism, and people-to-people exchanges between the two nations.
Centrum Air, headquartered in Tashkent, began operations in January 2023 and offers both scheduled and charter flights for passengers and cargo. The airline operates a modern fleet of Airbus aircraft, positioning itself as a competitive budget carrier in the region.
The launch of this route follows other recent international entries into Pakistan’s aviation market. Last month, Sri Lanka’s FitsAir announced plans to begin direct flights to Lahore, reflecting growing demand for international connectivity in Pakistan.
Travelers looking to book flights on the Tashkent–Lahore route can expect convenient schedules and competitive pricing as the airline enters the Pakistani market for the first time.
