A distressing case of animal cruelty has been reported from Sanghar District, where a landlord allegedly Cuts a camel’s leg for grazing in his field.
The incident occurred on Friday in Mund Jamrao village, prompting police action. Soomer Khan, the owner of the camel, shared his ordeal at the Sanghar Press Club, stating that he has no disputes with anyone and was shocked by the violence inflicted upon his camel.

Following public outrage over the appalling act, the Sanghar Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) took notice of the video circulating online, showing the injured camel.
It has been revealed that the camel owner refused to identify the perpetrator or press charges due to pressure from influential individuals. As the man held back, the police filed an FIR on behalf of the state against unknown individuals under sections 429 and 34 of the Pakistan Penal Code (PPC).
A man suspected to be responsible for the disturbing incident has been apprehended by local police, and further proceedings are underway.
