The Water and Sanitation Agency (WASA) Gujranwala has announced new employment opportunities for local residents. The latest WASA Jobs advertisement invites applications for 73 daily wage positions in different operational categories.
The recruitment is being carried out under the Government of Punjab’s hiring policy. These vacancies are aimed at strengthening the agency’s field operations and improving public services across Gujranwala.
WASA Gujranwala operates under the Local Government and Community Development Department. The agency is responsible for managing water supply, sewerage systems, drainage networks, and sanitation services in the city.
According to the official announcement, the available positions include Excavator Operators and Heavy Duty Drivers. Individuals with relevant experience in machinery operation and transportation services are encouraged to apply.
For the Excavator Operator position, candidates should have practical experience in operating excavation and construction equipment. Applicants familiar with heavy machinery handling will be given preference.
For Heavy Duty Driver positions, candidates must possess a valid HTV (Heavy Transport Vehicle) driving licence. Relevant driving experience is also required for consideration.
The eligibility criteria state that applicants should have at least a Middle or Matric qualification from a recognized institution. Candidates must also have practical experience related to the position for which they are applying.
Preference will be given to individuals with experience in excavator operations, heavy vehicle driving, municipal services, construction projects, and maintenance work.
These WASA Jobs are being offered on a daily wage basis. However, they provide valuable government sector experience and an opportunity to work in a professional environment. Successful candidates will be involved in projects related to urban infrastructure and public service delivery.
Interested applicants are required to appear directly for interviews with complete documentation. Required documents include an updated CV or application form, educational certificates, CNIC, domicile certificate, experience certificates, passport-sized photographs, and a valid HTV licence for driver positions.
The interviews will be conducted on 30 June 2026 at the WASA Office located in Block-X, Peoples Colony, Gujranwala.
Officials have advised candidates to arrive on time and bring original documents for verification. No travel or daily allowance will be provided during the recruitment process.
The authority has also reserved the right to increase, decrease, or cancel the vacancies without prior notice.
