Woman Allegedly 'Raped' Inside ASI's Office at Muzaffargarh Police Station

A disturbing incident has emerged from Muzaffargarh, where a woman was reportedly raped inside the office of an Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) at Saddar police station. The suspect, believed to be the police official involved, was taken into custody after a formal case was registered.

According to the victim’s statement, she had been summoned to the police station for a medical examination related to an abduction case. While there, an officer allegedly led her into the ASI’s room and sexually assaulted her. Authorities have since launched an investigation into the matter.

This incident comes on the heels of another horrific case earlier this year in Hafizabad, where a woman was allegedly gang-raped at gunpoint in front of her husband by a group of armed men. Although the assault occurred about a month prior, it only gained public attention after a video of the incident began circulating on social media.

Following the viral clip, police registered a First Information Report (FIR) on the complaint of the victim’s husband, naming four suspects and implicating a total of eight individuals. The complainant criticized the police for initially refusing to file the report and accused a relative of one of the suspects, allegedly stationed at the District Police Officer’s (DPO) office, of issuing threats when they sought justice.

Only after the video sparked widespread outrage did the DPO intervene, ordering swift action on the case.
