President Asif Ali Zardari credited Pakistan’s armed forces for what he described as a “historic victory” over India, praising their courage in dealing a significant blow to India’s military standing.
Calling it “the worst defeat for the eternal enemy,” Zardari reiterated Pakistan’s unwavering stance on national sovereignty and saluted the bravery that upheld the spirit of the nation.

He thanked international allies — including China, the US, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, and Iran — for their support during the crisis, and urged the nation to honor martyrs through prayer and unity.
Reaffirming Pakistan’s desire for “peace with dignity,” Zardari stressed that regional stability requires resolving the Kashmir dispute and addressing the Indus Waters Treaty tensions.
