Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has reached out to four cricket boards in order to organise One Day International (ODI) matches for the Pakistan side before the 2023 World Cup, which will be held in India later this year.

According to the PCB’s correspondence to the aforementioned boards, these series will allow visiting teams to acclimatise to the subcontinent’s conditions ahead of the mega event.

During a news conference in Lahore on Saturday, Pakistan’s head coach, Grant Bradburn, emphasised the importance of acquiring more matches to assure the Pakistani team’s readiness for the important tournament. He also said that the PCB has been aggressively organising matches in the run-up to the key 50-over season.
