Barrister Gohar Sees PTI Return Through Public Mandate in NA Address

Barrister Gohar addressed the National Assembly and delivered a firm message about the future of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf. During his remarks, he said Gohar sees PTI return to government through a public mandate rather than any other route. He stressed that people, not institutions, would decide the party’s future.

Gohar stated that if PTI forms the next government, the party plans to reverse the recently approved amendments. He argued that these changes do not reflect the will of the public. According to him, PTI will reassess the legislation once it is back in power.

In his address, the PTI chairman emphasized the party’s respect for state institutions. He said PTI would never attack Parliament under any circumstances. He added that their political approach is rooted in strengthening democratic norms. This statement was intended to counter repeated claims that PTI seeks to destabilize the system.

Gohar also reminded lawmakers that PTI has never tried to undermine the dignity of Parliament. He said the party has always supported constitutional procedures. This point further reflected how Gohar sees PTI return through a peaceful and lawful political process.

The session included a brief exchange about Mahamood Achakzai. The Speaker questioned Achakzai’s status as opposition leader. In response, Gohar confidently asserted that Achakzai does hold that position. He said there was no confusion regarding his role within the Assembly.

Throughout his address, Gohar repeated that PTI aims to work within Parliament rather than outside it. His remarks were designed to reassure both lawmakers and the public that the party seeks political stability.
