PTI Chairman Barrister Gohar Ali Khan expressed satisfaction with the Supreme Court of Pakistan’s verdict on reserved seats, calling it a historic decision that upholds democratic values in Pakistan.
“This decision will be remembered in history. It confirms our rights; previously, there were concerns about our rights being compromised. Today, 11 judges ruled in our favor,” he stated.
“The decision favored us with an 8-5 ratio,” he added.

“We urge the Election Commission of Pakistan to implement the court’s orders promptly. Our party’s intra-party certification should be issued this week,” he emphasized.
“The KP Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur’s role was pivotal; he delayed the oath-taking in the KP Assembly. There is no need for re-election,” the PTI chairman asserted.
Commenting on Justice Jamal Mandohel’s dissenting note read by CJP Wazi Faez Isa, Barrister Gohar Ali Khan remarked, “Reading the dissenting notes is a normal practice.”
PTI’s counsel in the SIC reserved seat case, Salman Akram Raja, hailed the day as historic for Pakistan, celebrating victory in both legal and democratic battles.
“Our objective is to strengthen democracy in Pakistan,” he affirmed.
Former PTI senator Shibli Faraz criticized the current government’s formation under Form-45 and demanded the return of the mandate.
