China has praised Pakistan for its active role in the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO), highlighting Islamabad’s contributions to regional peace, security, and economic cooperation. The Chinese envoy emphasized that Pakistan remains a vital partner in advancing SCO’s shared goals.
Speaking at a diplomatic event, Chinese Ambassador hails Pakistan’s SCO role, noting that Islamabad has consistently promoted dialogue, counter-terrorism cooperation, and connectivity projects under the organization’s framework. He stressed that Pakistan’s participation has strengthened SCO’s capacity to address regional challenges.
The ambassador also underlined the importance of China-Pakistan cooperation within the SCO. He said the two countries have worked closely to promote trade, infrastructure development, and people-to-people exchanges. According to him, this partnership contributes not only to the organization but also to regional stability.
Pakistani officials welcomed the remarks and reiterated their commitment to the SCO. They highlighted Pakistan’s initiatives on counter-terrorism, digital connectivity, and energy security, which align with the organization’s broader objectives.
