Islamabad High Court Has Ruled The Arrest Of PTI Activist Sanam Javed illegal

The Islamabad High Court has deemed the arrest of PTI activist Sanam Javed unlawful. During proceedings, the Attorney General informed Justice Miangul Hasan Aurangzeb that Balochistan police no longer sought her transit remand, allowing her return to her province.

The judge addressed Javed’s counsel, expressing concern over her previous online language and seeking assurance of her future conduct.

The lawyer assured the court that Javed would refrain from inappropriate conversations. Following the court’s ruling barring her arrest, she was released with restrictions: prohibited from leaving Islamabad and ordered to maintain silence.

Earlier, the Lahore High Court dismissed a case related to riots in Gujranwala on May 9 against Javed. Despite bail in Lahore cases, she faced a new arrest in Gujranwala upon leaving Central Jail.
