PM Declares Action Against Anti-Army Propaganda

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has strongly criticized anti-army campaigns, warning strict measures against those targeting national institutions online.

During a federal cabinet meeting on Wednesday, PM declares that propaganda against Pakistan’s armed forces is β€œintolerable.” He said that individuals spreading hate, terrorism, or ridicule will be tracked and punished. The prime minister stressed that such elements must be eliminated from society.

Tribute to Major Adnan Aslam

At the meeting, PM declares his tribute to Major Adnan Aslam, who embraced martyrdom in the line of duty. He said he attended the funeral and met the bereaved family, praising the courage of the martyr’s father. Shehbaz Sharif noted that the entire nation is proud of its martyrs who defend the homeland with their lives.

Strengthening International Relations

The prime minister also spoke about his recent visit to China, which he called highly successful. He noted that the business conference during the trip was productive. According to him, China has become a global power, and Pakistan is focused on building stronger ties with both Beijing and Washington.

He added that the Memorandums of Understanding signed with the United States will bring new investment opportunities for Pakistan.

Climate and Agriculture Emergency

In response to ongoing flood devastation, PM declares a climate and agricultural emergency. He directed authorities to complete a detailed review of crop damage and losses within a week. While the federal government will play its role, he urged provincial governments to step up their efforts.

Shehbaz Sharif said that delays in development projects will no longer be tolerated. He stressed that flood losses are massive, with official figures confirming over 1,000 deaths. Floodwaters have now reached Sindh, and the full impact on agriculture will be revealed after assessments.

The prime minister concluded that climate change is a serious, long-term challenge that demands immediate and coordinated action.
