Amidst the political developments in Pakistan, the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) and the Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F), old allies in Pakistani politics, are not moving ahead in the upcoming setup. The PML-N has joined hands with the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) to form the government in Balochistan.

Ishaq Dar, a senior PML-N leader, met with a JUI-F delegation led by Abdul Ghafoor Haideri, where the latter shared plans to form the government in Balochistan. However, Ishaq Dar declined the offer, stating that PML-N had already been in talks with PPP for power-sharing in Balochistan. The delayed response from JUI-F led to the decision to join forces with PPP.
